The University

The American Virtual University has been established at Hayward in the State of California with a view to introducing need based Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral level programmes through virtual education mode with the main objectives of solving the burning problems of the world including peacelessness, unemployment, underemployment, insurgency, pollution, poverty and population explosion.

The American Virtual University has been instituted so that the accomplished individuals who are admitted to the university will upon graduation be able to guide the human race now living in a historic transitional period of burgeoning awareness of the conflict between human activities and environmental constraints and they will be prepared to venture into a new millennium and to finally help save the fragile and endangered planet with the natural resources already overtaxed. The Alumnus of the university will also help in developing a new didactical approach to teaching and learning for reducing the toll the world citizenry have exacted in supporting daily life and the ever growing problems on the earth exerting profound pressures on the Mother Earth.

The American Virtual University has resolved to collaborate with several like minded Federal and State Governments, Public and Private Sector Universities, United Nations and other International Organizations besides Statutory and Philanthropic bodies for organising and implementing programmes having social, educational, cultural, scientific, environmental, economic and positive contents for the optimum development of a global sustainable society for taking care of emerging issues like geriatric care, women and child development, peace and global security, disarmament, trafficking abatement, criminology, forensic science, green business, green technology, global warming reduction and climate change, disaster management, sustainable development etc.
